Unseelie are vicious, heartless, and cruel, or so Merin believes. Then Tarel, an Unseelie warrior, comes to his rescue, and turns his view of the world upside down.

To escape the effects of his curse, Tarel exiled himself to the forest. He has enough issues with his own people, but he never thought he’d share his bed with a Seelie either, even if only by medical necessity. If Merin and Tarel can overcome their prejudices, they might see what a gift fate has given them.

Purchase Link:

Marin is chased into Tarel's woods by a pack of goblins. Just before the goblins kill him, Tarel saves Marin and obliterates the pack of goblins. Marin is a Seelie Sidhe and Tarel is Unseelie. They are sworn enemies but are instantly attracted to each other. Tarel feels compelled to heal Marin and takes him home.
This is lust at first sight. Once Marin is healed from his wounds, they proceed to go at it like bunnies. It's mentioned that Tarel is under a curse and it's broken by their soulbond. However, I still don't know the effects of the curse or why Marin is attacked by goblins in the first place. There is a lot of "telling," not "showing." I am told that Marin and Tarel hates each other but then seriously desires each other, which leads to them falling in love with each other. Their relationship is just not very believable and they are given a fairytale ending without drama. The story would benefit from a stronger background for the characters and a more polished plot.
